The Plym Group is a senior endurance training group.
Most who train with us participate in distance running including road, cross country and track races.
We run a specific approach to training with each member of the group given individualised coaching and training adaptions.
The group is coached by James Armstrong using a periodised and structured programme to enable athletes to achieve the very best out of themselves across: 5km, 10km, Half Marathon and Marathon distances.
The group uses the club’s athletic track, local routes in the town and in good weather, we venture on to Dartmoor.
We group’s priority is always to have fun. We train hard but we enjoy it as a social group. We have a friendly, welcoming and fun atmosphere often with music and laughter.
